I have a friend who is newly diagnosed with cancer and she is feeling very negative. I want to help her to go through the progress but I don't have time as she is staying quite far.. what should I do?

Dear Wilson,
I am so sorry to hear about your friend and her state of emotion. I understand your concern and how much you will like to help her go through the process or journey but unfortunately you are time and distance constraint.

You may not be there in person for her but you can consider using other communicative method/devices to reach out to her for example, call her on the phone, whatsapp, skype and sms just to name a few. A word of encouragement and showing that you care will mean a lot to her. Cheer her up with positive and affirming words. Above all, be patient and be a good listener. These are some ways you can show her that you care and being supportive towards her. Apart from that, you may want to find out some support groups that are available within her vicinity.

I hope this helps.
